Advanced Life Sciences to Host 2008 First Quarter Financial Results Conference Call and Webcast

CHICAGO, May 1 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Advanced Life Sciences Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADLS), a biopharmaceutical company engaged in the discovery, development and commercialization of novel drugs in the therapeutic areas of infection, cancer and respiratory diseases today announced that it will host a conference call and webcast discussing the Company's 2008 first quarter results on Wednesday, May 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. (EDT). Michael T. Flavin, Ph.D., Chairman & Chief Executive Officer, as well as other members of the management team, will also present an update on the Company. A press release reporting the 2008 first quarter results will be issued before the U.S. stock markets open on Wednesday, May 7, 2008.

The conference call will be webcast simultaneously over the Internet. Please visit the Investor Relations section of the Advanced Life Sciences corporate website http://www.advancedlifesciences.com .
