Advanced Chemical Transport Opens Merced Facility

SUNNYVALE, Calif., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Advanced Chemical Transport, one of the leading environmental services companies in California, has announced the opening of a new location in Merced, Calif.

ACT will provide all of its environmental services -- hazardous, biological and radioactive waste disposal, vacuum truck services, transportation, spill response, site services and environmental health and safety outsourcing -- from the location at 265 Riggs Ave. in Merced. The new location will serve the Bakersfield to Sacramento market and complement the company's existing locations in Sunnyvale and Escondido.

ACT has experienced tremendous growth since it inception in 2000. Founded by entrepreneur Walt Singer, the company has grown 400 percent in the last 4 years while retaining 94 percent of its client base. Throughout its growth, ACT has maintained an exemplary safety record.
