Accelrys Announces Strategic Partnership with USDM

"Accelrys' products, combined with USDM's regulatory knowledge and life science experience, are changing the way labs operate. Efficiency and compliance now go hand in hand to reduce costs and increase productivity."

The partnership between Accelrys and USDM enhances Accelrys' Process Management and Compliance Suite of software products and services for life sciences organizations requiring best practice regulatory compliance and risk management solutions. Components of the Accelrys Process Management and Compliance Suite include the Accelrys Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN), Accelrys Lab Execution System (LES), Accelrys Electronic Batch Records (EBR), Accelrys Discoverant Process Monitoring Informatics and a new Laboratory Information Management System (Accelrys LIMS) with applications supporting environmental monitoring, inventory management, metrology and calibration management, stability management, sample/specification management and work request management — all built upon or integrated with the scientifically aware Accelrys Enterprise Platform.

Supporting these technology offerings, USDM brings a strong, proven professional services organization to assist customers in qualification, validation, auditing, risk management and other compliance-related projects, including implementation and IT architecture services for Accelrys LIMS. Together, the Accelrys and USDM team will perform all needed preliminary project/business needs assessments, piloting of the solution, initial deployments with qualification/validation and roll-out to the customer site, multiple sites or global operations.
