Date:7/29/2008

CAMBRIDGE, Mass., July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Abt Associates has been ranked 19th in the Marketing News Honomichl Top 50 Report listing of the top 50 U.S. Research firms. The listing is based on 2007 revenue in the market research category. Abt Associates market research revenue for calendar 2007 was $55.1 million. Total company revenues for the fiscal year ended March 31, 2008 were $225 million.

Abt Associates market research activities are carried out by its subsidiary Abt SRBI. In 2007 the company acquired Schulman, Ronca & Bucuvalas Inc. (SRBI) a full service public opinion and marketing research company and joined it with its existing survey research organization to form Abt SRBI. Abt SRBI specializes in banking and finance, government and public policy, consumer products/services, media, telecommunications, transportation, utilities, and health care research. The firm has strong expertise in branding and customer satisfaction/loyalty. Abt SRBI provides a full range of market research capabilities, from sample design and instrument development, to data collection, management, processing and analysis.

The Honomichl Report, a widely respected research industry publication, is published each year in June by Marketing News, a publication of the American Marketing Association. To qualify for the listing, firms must submit to third-party verification of calendar year revenues for market research operations.
