AHEAD Named to UBM Channel's Solution Provider 500 List
Date:6/19/2012

CHICAGO, June 19, 2012 /PRNewswire-iReach/ -- Chicago-based Information Technology consulting firm AHEAD announced today its recognition by UBM Channel as a part of CRN's 2012 Solution Provider 500 list. The CRN Solution Provider 500 ranks the top technology integrators in North America. The list is comprised of the highest revenue producing solution provider organizations in the IT channel. The firms are evaluated based on hardware and software sales and managed IT services. AHEAD placed 141 in the annual ranking.

While annual sales revenue is an important factor in the Solution Provider 500 ranking, a company's ability to demonstrate an innovative, forward-thinking approach to the channel is also critical. In particular, the Solution Provider 500 selection panel sought to recognize companies that are building out practices around the data center and virtualization while offering software integration and application development skills. Revenue size is determined by the amount of annual products and services sold over the course of 2011. Companies with no public documentation were required to submit a notarized affidavit attesting to their 2010 and 2011 revenues.

"Technology is moving at an unprecedented pace and shows no signs of stopping," said AHEAD President Daniel Adamany. "That is why we started AHEAD. Our purpose is to listen, understand, and address client needs by applying our unique methodologies with the highest form of technology—The Human Brain. We do this by maintaining focus on our clients' business needs and applying innovative ideas based on our deep understanding of products and solutions and how to execute them," he added.

"The organizations listed in this year's Solution Provider 500 list are today's true integration innovators who generate high revenues by putting their customers' needs first," said Kelley Damore, Vice President and E
