ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals to Present at the 2007 Thomas Weisel Partners Healthcare Conference

SAN DIEGO, Aug. 29 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- ADVENTRX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Amex: ANX) a biopharmaceutical research and development company focused on commercializing proprietary product candidates for the treatment of cancer and infectious diseases, announced today that Evan M. Levine, ADVENTRX's chief executive officer, is scheduled to present at the 2007 Thomas Weisel Partners Healthcare Conference on Wednesday, September 5th, 2007 at 1:30 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time. The conference takes place in Boston at the Four Seasons Hotel, September 5 - 7, 2007.

The presentation will be webcast live via the "Investors" section of the Company's web site at http://www.adventrx.com under "Events." The webcast will be available for replay for 14 days and can be accessed through the same link.
