ADM Announces Appointments
Date:9/11/2007

previously served as vice president, Corn Processing. Prior to that appointment, he was the general manager, ADM/LSI, a food ingredients distribution network. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in biochemistry from the University of Nebraska and an MBA from Illinois State University.

Kevin Swanson joined the Company in 1985 and has served in several positions in the U.S. as well as Europe. He received a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa.

Joe Taets joined the Company in 1988 and has held various trading and management positions in both North America and Europe. He most recently served as president, European Oilseed Processing. Taets received a bachelor's degree from Iowa State University and a Master of Business Administration from Drake University.

Gary Towne joined ADM in 1997 and has served in a variety of management and merchandising positions. In 1999, he was named vice president, ADM Export Company; and in 2000, he was named vice president, Corn Processing. Towne received a bachelor's degree in accounting from Indiana University.
