ACAAI and AGA Partner to Raise Awareness of Hereditary Angioedema Through 'HAE: Learn About It, Talk About It'
Date:5/3/2010

portunity to learn more about identifying, diagnosing, and treating HAE.  For more information, including how to register for the Webinar, visit www.LetsTalkHAE.com/webinar.

"HAE:  Learn About It, Talk About It" is a joint effort of the American College of Asthma, Allergy and Immunology (ACAAI) and the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) Institute and supported by ViroPharma Incorporated.  Because the effects of HAE on patients and the medical community are significant, with attacks often mistaken by both physicians and patients for serious allergic reactions or abdominal surgical emergencies, "HAE:  Learn About It, Talk About It" will be expanded in the coming months to include other medical specialties that may come into contact with patients with HAE.

About ACAAI

The ACAAI is a professional medical organization headquartered in Arlington Heights, Ill., that promotes excellence in the practice of the subspecialty of allergy and immunology.  The College, comprising more than 5,000 allergists-immunologists and related health care professionals, fosters a culture of collaboration and congeniality in which its members work together and with others toward the common goals of patient care, education, advocacy and research.  To learn more about allergies and asthma and to find an allergist, visit
