For the first time, the illustrious and under-recognized work of many Chinese and American health care professionals in enabling the construction of a first-rate health care system in post-war Taiwan is broadly told in this new, revealing publication. Dr. Watt spent 20 years assembling written materials and photographs, and obtaining essays describing the work and viewpoints of ABMAC directors and their colleagues in Taiwan.
