WASHINGTON, June 16 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Foundation for Biomedical Research (FBR) today announces the winners of the 9th annual Michael E. DeBakey Journalism Awards. The awards, named in honor of FBR's late chairman Dr. Michael E. The 2010 winners are Bill Hudson and Bob Hernandez (WCCO-TV, Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota), Lorna Benson (Minnesota Public Radio), Jim Spencer (Minneapolis Star Tribune), Tim Lloyd (Columbia Missourian) and Emily Singer (Technology Review). The judging panel was composed of both members of the media and the scientific community.
