Former Cables to Go/Lastar Inc. Employee's Move to Form American Consumer Cables Pays Off
Date:10/13/2008

In March 2007, Joe Weitz left his position of 15 years as International Purchasing Manager for Cables to Go/Lastar Inc. to form American Consumer Cables.com. Today Weitz and the four fellow United States Air Force veterans he partners with at American Consumer Cables oversee one of the largest online providers of technology-based connectivity solutions; one that provides over 5,000 discounted connectivity product solutions including audio cables, Cat5E cables, video cables, HDMI cables, RapidRUN systems and more.

DAYTON, Ohio (Business Wire EON) October 13, 2008 -- American Consumer Cables.com is a B2B and B2C company offering hard to find cable assembly and adaptor related products in addition to the latest technology-based connectivity solutions. The company's inventory includes Cable to Go's award-winning, patent pending RapidRUN analog and digital modular interconnect system designed for A/V and VGA applications.

"Our goal is to provide each of our customers with an extraordinary online experience," says Weitz. "Each of my partners and I have served overseas in the United States Air Force, and continue to serve in the Air National Guard. We have every intention of bringing that same spirit of service and commitment to the work we do at American Consumer Cables. If we didn't provide the best connectivity products and services at discount prices, there would really be no reason for us to exist."

American Consumer Cables is a Better Business Bureau Accredited business, and offers the convenience of 24/7 online ordering and same day shipping. The company also offers a free direct manufacturer support "Live Chat" option during normal business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Eastern time. This unique feature allows customers to interact directly with the manufacturer to receive technical support and assistance while shopping for products. I
