Description The gold standard for whole-blood clinical diagnostic work in hospitals and laboratories. In 60 seconds or less, this analyzer makes precise glucose measurements of whole blood, plasma, or serum and precise lactate measurements of whole blood, plasma, or cerebrospinal fluid. The analyzer's hematocrit correction option allows you to have glucose results expressed as plasma even when running whole blood. The analyzer requires a small sample (25 microliters), making it practical in neonate applications. YSIs immobilized enzyme technology eliminates most of the interferences that plague other methods. Calibration is automatic, so the analyzer is always ready.
