Item Xcise automated robotic system for Gel Processing
Price
Description The Xcise is a powerful technology platform that automates gel processing for high throughput proteome analysis. High quality sample preparation can be carried out by an untrained user.

The Xcise is a powerful technology platform that automates gel processing for high throughput proteome analysis. It combines the functions of high-resolution gel imaging, precision spot cutting, protein digestion and peptide purification, and deposition onto a MALDI plate into a single integrated benchtop instrument.

The Xcise is the first commercial offering from the collaboration between Shimadzu Biotech and Proteome Systems. It has undergone Shimadzus stringent quality and safety testing to meet the toughest international standards of excellence.

The Xcise advantage:

  • all operations are done in a single integrated instrument of small footprint
  • all operations are coordinated by a single software platform
  • all operations take place in one unit, eliminating gel, protein and plate handling and greatly reducing environmental contamination
  • all data acquisition and management is centralized on the Xcise database, which can interface with Proteome Systems BioinformatIQTM platform
