Description The VSN-5 Nutating Mixer is a combination of an orbital shaker and rocker which produces a three dimensional action while providing gentle, thorough mixing without foaming. This high quality unit can be used for a variety of applications including mixing or resuspension of specimens, tissue culture, immunoblots, staining/destaining, chromatography, etc. The VSN-5 Nutating Mixer has a variable speed of 5-40 rpm and operates at a 20 degree tilt angle. Either a 5" x 9" table with removable nipple rubber mat for various tube sizes or an 8" x 8" table with removable flat rubber mat for Microwell plates, blots, petri dishes and cell flasks is available for the VSN-5. The PRO VSN-5 is constructed of ABS plastic, comes equipped with 4 non-slip rubber suction cup feet to safely keep your mixer in place during operation, features a visible "ON" light, and is ideal for any lab with a small footprint of only 5.5"(H) x 5.75"(D) x 5"(W). The VSN-5 Nutating Mixer is also perfect for temperature sensitive samples in an incubator or cold room.
