Description	The UltraClean GelSpin Kit utilizes a silica based spin filter membrane to isolate DNA from agarose gels. After electrophoresis, the desired DNA band is cut from an agarose gel and placed directly in the spin filter unit. The gel slice is melted irreversibly in a high molarity chaotropic salt. Then the DNA is bound to the silica spin filter membrane and washed once to remove traces of agarose and salt. The DNA is recovered from the spin filter membrane in water or Tris buffer. Rapid Protocol - Purify DNA from agarose gels in as little as 5 minutes. Easy Format - Utilizes a silica spin filter method. Kit removes ethidium bromide, linkers and labels from TAE or TBE gels. User Friendly - Simply melt, bind, wash and collect DNA. Complete - All tubes and reagents required are included in kit and ready to use.
