Description UNIchip AV-400 contains 400 unique human proteins on a 1x3 inch nitrocellulose-coated glass slide. The proteins, a cross section of all cellular proteins, are arrayed in quadruplicate for high-quality results. Additional control proteins and a specific chip layout guarantee high validity and reproducibility.

UNIchip protein microarrays are high-density protein biochips developed specifically for antibody characterization and validation. They enable early selection of the best antibody by providing quantitative data for sensitivity, dynamic range, and detection limit. Furthermore quantitative antibody fingerprints can be generated revealing the off-target activity of each antibody. This is achieved by printing customer antigen(s) onto the UNIchip and calculating relative signal intensities of the 400 human proteins to that of the target antigen.

Product is available in both a basic and a premium version.
In the basic version the individual antigen will be spotted by the customer, or the protein biochips can be used directly for off-target activity testing without any further processing.
In the premium version, Protagen also spots one or several customer specific antigens (proteins) onto the microarray allowing for quantitative analysis.
