Description UN-SCAN-IT gel Software converts any scanner into a gel densitometer. Although UN-SCAN-IT gel has numerous options and features, the basic operation simply consists of converting an image (TIFF, JPEG, PCX, BMP, etc.) into pixel density / intensity values through a few simple steps.

  • Turn your scanner into a high speed gel densitometer.
  • Automatically digitize lanes and segments in electrophoresis gels.
  • Improve accuracy and reproducibility of electrophoresis gel analysis.
  • Eliminate the need for guesswork.
  • Reduce gel analysis times and increase laboratory productivity.

  • Determine the relative abundance and position of each band or segment within the gel.
