Description The Centra-CL5R multi-purpose centrifuge offers both high-speed and high-volume versatility along with a large assortment of rotor options, making it ideal for a wide variety of laboratory applications.

Maximum Versatility

  • High-speed (up to 15,000 rpm and 21,000 xg) angle rotors or high-volume (4 x 250mL) swinging bucket rotors
  • Accommodates tube volumes from .25 to 250mL (including Universals) and microplates

User-Friendly
The counterbalanced cover makes the centrifuge easy for laboratory personnel to open and close. Quick, quiet, and compact, the Centra-CL5R minimizes intrusion upon the laboratory environment. The Aerocarrier Adapter covers are easy to install and remove for simple and effective operator safety.

Runs Safely Every Time
Thermo IEC centrifuges are outfitted with the most advanced safety features available. The Centra-CL5R is CE marked, manufactured under the ISO 9001 quality system, and meets IEC 1010-2-020 international standards for mechanical containment. An automatically locking lid will not open until the rotor slows to a safe speed. Balance and speed sensors display an alert message if imbalance or unsafe speed is detected. Sealed adapters provide excellent aerosol containment.

Features

  • Maintenance-free brushless drive
  • Large, easy-to-read displays
  • Save, lock, and recall up to 99 programs
  • Direct G-force speed control
  • Automatic rotor recognition
  • Hold mode for extended runs
