Description PCR Workstation brings together UV irradiation and antimicrobial stainless steel to create a dual-attack environment against PCR contamination!
  • Quickly inactivate DNA between experiments with UV
  • Maintain a clean environment with antimicrobial coated stainless steel
  • Decontaminate apparatus and reagents within minutes with built-in 30-minute timer
  • UVP's Sterilizing UV PCR Workstation creates an ideal environment for preparing PCR and other samples by reducing the chance of DNA contamination
  • Control potential PCR contamination with the built-in high intensity UV tubes for inactivation of DNA between experiments
  • The ultraviolet irradiation can be used as a standard laboratory practice to reduce surface and airborne contaminants in the chamber
  • The easy-clean surface resists growth of destructive bacteria
  • Antimicrobial coating is stain and fingerprint resistant as well UV operates with a key switch
  • A safety shut-off switch automatically turns the ultraviolet light off when the door is open
  • The 3/8" acrylic enclosure is UV and beta-blocking and effective for protection against 32P labeled compounds
  • The bi-fold hinged door flips up for easy access to the work area
  • The workstation is designed for placement of large instruments on the base work area or tubes, flasks and pipettes on the two removable shelves
  • The four built-in power outlets allow operation of equipment for use in PCR applications
  • The non-ventilated, circulation-free chamber further limits exposure of equipment to an open lab environment
