Description StabilGuard Choice Microsphere/Microarray Stabilizer is a is a bovine protein-free alternative to StabilCoat Plus Stabilizer. This product is an aqueous solution that contains non-toxic chemicals in a PBS buffer (phosphate buffered saline), pH 6.6 - 7.2. This product contains a combination of 0.02% methylisothiazolone and 0.02% bromonitrodioxane as a preservative. StabilGuard Choice Stabilizer provides optimum performance for both microsphere and microarray applications. This product improves the stability of proteins bound to microspheres in solution and prevents their aggregation--even after long term storage. It also improves protein array performance by increasing signal, reducing background and effectively preserving the conformation and activity of array proteins stored long-term in a dried state. The shelf-life of StabilGuard Choice Stabilizer is 3 years when stored at 4C. Product samples available upon request.
