Description StabilCoat Plus Microsphere/Microarray Stabilizer is an aqueous solution that contains a purified bovine protein and other non-toxic chemicals in a PBS buffer (phosphate buffered saline), pH 7.0 7.4. This product contains a combination of 0.02% methylisothiazolone and 0.02% bromonitrodioxane as a preservative. StabilCoat Plus Stabilizer provides optimum performance for both microsphere and microarray applications. This product improves the stability of proteins bound to microspheres in solution and prevents their aggregation--even after long term storage. It also improves protein array performance by increasing signal, reducing background and effectively preserving the conformation and activity of array proteins stored long-term in a dried state. The shelf-life of StabilCoat Plus Stabilizer is 2 years when stored at 4C. Product samples available upon request.
