Description Young rabbit blood (New Zealand White or Californian 8 - 10 weeks old, either sex) is refrigerated within 6 hours of collection, processed within 24 hours and frozen at -20ºC. The serum is then thawed in a cool waterbath, delipidized using a standard in-house protocol, filtered through a 0.22 micron filter, bottled, and refrozen at -20ºC.
