Reactivity / Specificity Cross-reacts with Rat.Expected to cross-react with Human (100% identity with immunogen), Mouse (100% identity with immunogen), Rabbit (100% identity with immunogen) and Ferret (100% identity with immunogen) due to sequence homology. Not yet tested in other species.
Background Information In neurons voltage-dependent potassium channels are key determinants of the resting membrane potential and of membrane excitability, conditioning the frequency, and shape of action potential. Potassium channels are encoded by numerous genes whose products can be classified into distinct subfamilies of which the most distinctively characterized is that of the Kv1 shaker class.
