Description HORIBA Jobin Yvons Protein 295 ex can measure three fluorescence lifetimespicoseconds to secondsfrom a protein sample in only a few minutes. To match the absorption maxima of the amino acids tyrosine and tryptophan, the Protein 295 exs excitation source is the powerful NanoLED-17, a pulsed diode emitting 295 nm. Fluorescence of tryptophan is widely used as a probe of protein structure and dynamics. Included with the Protein 295 ex are motorized, UV-grade optics, TBX-04 picosecond photon-detection module, timing electronics, and data-acquisition and decay-analysis software. Options include automated polarizers and 4-cell sample turret for faster throughput, temperature control, and NanoLED-15 (pulsed 280 nm diode source). The Protein 295 ex, from the makers of The Worlds Most Sensitive Spectrofluorometers.
