Description The PROTEAN II XL cell, wide format, is used for vertical electrophoresis applications. The cell accommodates two 18.5 x 20 cm gels and requires 1.2 L of running buffer. It includes the PROTEAN II xi basic unit and the 2.0 mm IPG conversion kit, which contains accessories for use with 2.0 mm thick gels and includes 2 sets of IPG clamps, 2 sets of 20 x 20 cm glass plates, 4 IPG spacers, 2 IPG combs, 2 IPG central cooling core gaskets, 2 casting stand gaskets, and an alignment card.
