Description The Open Frame DNAscope is an integrated confocal laser scanner designed to be flexible, customizable, and readily integrated into your specific application. GeneFocus can recommend a standard configuration, or we can tailor the system to your specifications. The Open Frame DNAscopes patented optical scanning design has been modularized and built onto an optical board to scan virtually any size or type of substrate. A wide variety of optical, spectroscopic, and detection components can be integrated into the system to accomplish demanding research applications that use precision laser scanning.

Main Features:

  • custom sample holder
  • pixel sizes from 2 to 100 microns
  • scans 70mm x 22mm @10 microns in 3.5 minutes. Other scan sizes available.
  • confocal design that greatly reduces background signal and improves signal to noise.
  • precision optics: patented optical design ensures accurate reading of every pixel.
  • upgradeable to include 3 additional light sources. Up to 6 different emission filters can be provided.
  • 16 bit dynamic range, optimize useful dynamic range with calibration feature and gain control.
Applications: Gels, Microarrays, Cartridges, (Genomics and Proteomics), Materials Characterization.
