Description Covance's BCIP/NBT Chromogen system consists of [5-Bromo-4-Chloro-3- Indolyl Phosphate/Nitro Blue Tetrazolium] chromogen in a single component solution. The ready-to-use BCIP/NBT solution reacts in the presence of alkaline phosphatase to produce a purple staining with minimal background noise.
