Description Reduce bench time to just 15 minutes!

The name Instant ELISA is derived from the paralles that can be drawn between this exciting new laboratory concept and the much older idea of instant foods. Instant meals consumed by astronauts, explorers and mountaineers are supplied in freeze-dried format and are reconstituted by adding water. The Instant ELISA is based on the same principle whereby the main components are supplied lyophilized and ready to use on the plate.

Each Instant ELISA plate contains:
  • Coating antibody
  • Standard protein
  • Detection antibody
  • Streptavidin-HRP (if necessary)
  • Sample Diluent
To perfom the ELISA, the user simply adds water and the sample to be tested. Major benefits of the Instant ELISA compared to conventional kits include:
  • No need for standard curve titration
  • No pre-dilution of reagents
  • Only one incubation
  • Only one wash step
  • Less than half the working steps compared to a conventional ELISA
  • Approximately 50% saving on consumables
  • Extremely easy to use
The benefits add up to a significant saving in terms of bench time and money spent on laboratory consumables.
