Description The Mini-PROTEAN II multiscreen apparatus is used to screen blots of mini format (8 x 7 cm) gels. The apparatus can screen up to 40 different antibodies or sera without having to cut the blot into strips. The apparatus includes a base plate, 2 separate, detachable sample templates that accommodate one or two 8 x 7 cm membranes, and gaskets and clamps that secure the blots to form 40 channels (each channel requires 600 microliters of antibody solution for screening). Dimensions are 27 x 11 x 6 cm.
