Description The Mini-PROTEAN 3 Dodeca cell with multi-casting chamber is used for handcasting and vertical electrophoresis of up to 12 mini format handcast (8.3 x 7.3 cm) or precast (8.6 x 6.8 cm) gels. The cell requires 3.4-4.4 L of buffer and includes an electrophoresis tank with built-in cooling coil that attaches to an external refrigerated circulator (not included), lid with power cables, 6 electrophoresis clamping frames, 2 buffer dams, drain line, and 2 gel releasers. This item also includes the Mini-PROTEAN 3 multi-casting chamber, which is used to cast up to 12 gels of 0.5, 0.75, 1.0, or 1.5 mm thickness simultaneously, 8 acrylic blocks, 15 separation sheets, tapered luer connector, and stopcock valve. Glass plates and combs are sold separately. The dimensions are 16.2 x 41.5 x 15.0 cm.
