    Real-Time Data Acquisition

    The MassARRAY Compact system processes samples using matrix-assisted laser desorption/ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF MS), which can resolve mass differences to three Daltons. The MassARRAY RT data acquisition software included with the system automatically aligns and calibrates SEQUENOM.s SpectroCHIP and provides smart rastering of DNA samples in real time. Rastering dramatically improves sample efficiency and reduces individual analysis times for improved data quality and sample throughput. The MassARRAY Compact system automatically generates analysis data and assigns a status level to samples as spectra are acquired.
