Description Whether your protein is in solution or in a gel piece, we can identify it using MALDI-TOF/TOF mass spectrometry. Proteins will be digested to produce a mixture of peptides. The molecular weights (mass) of the peptides are determined by MALDI-TOF, and the amino acid sequences of the top 10 peaks (peptides) from MALDI-TOF will be determined by MALDI-TOF/TOF. The masses and sequences will be used to search in a protein database to precisely determine the protein identity. We also offer de novo protein sequencing.
