Description Ambions MAXIscript In Vitro Transcription Kits synthesize RNA probes with specific activities reaching 1 x 109 cpm/g. High specific activity, single-stranded RNA probes are used in ribonuclease protection assays, in situ hybridization, and blot hybridizations. MAXIscript Kits can also be used for the synthesis of modest amounts of unlabeled RNA (2-4 g/20ul reaction) of up to 2 kb. Ambions in vitro transcription kits are the most widely used in vitro transcription kits in the United States.
