Highly active enzyme useful for the study of enzyme regulation and kinetics, cleavage of target substrates, and inhibitor screening.
Specific activity: 15,000 units/mg protein.
One unit is defined as the amount of enzyme that will cleave 1 nmol of Ac-DEVD-pNA Cat. No. 235400 per hour at 37 C at saturated substrate concentrations.
Soluble in aqueous buffers.
Avoid freeze/thaw cycles of solutions.
