Price $1,390.00
Description There are at least 20 structurally and functionally related BMPs, which are members of the TGF-beta superfamily. BMPs were originally identified as protein regulators of cartilage and bone formation. They are also involved in embryogenesis and morphogenesis of various tissues and organs. BMPs regulate the growth, differentiation, chemotaxis and apoptosis of various cell types, including mesenchymal cells, epithelial cells, hematopoietic cells and neuronal cells. Similar to other TGF-beta family proteins, BMPs are highly conserved across animal species.

This DuoSet ELISA Development kit contains the basic components required for the development of sandwich ELISAs to measure natural and recombinant Human BMP-5 in cell culture supernates and serum. Each kit contains sufficient materials to run ELISAs on approximately fifteen 96-well plates, provided that the following conditions are met:

•The assay is run as summarized in the General ELISA protocol.
•The recommended microplates, buffers, diluents, substrates, and solutions are used.
