Description The Helios gene gun optimization kit provides a variety of reagents for use in optimizing parameters affecting particle delivery with the Helios gene gun. The kit provides 0.25 g each of 0.6 micrometer, 1.0 micrometer, and 1.6 micrometer gold microcarriers. Also included is a cartridge kit, that provides 0.5 g polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) with MW of 360,000, 5 desiccant pellets, 5 cartridge collection and storage vials, and 50 feet of GoldCoat tubing. These reagents and supplies are sufficient for the preparation of 1,000 samples.
