ProductsH2OBIT Thermal Cycler with Universal Basket for 24 x 96-well plates from ABgene
Company ABgene
Item H2OBIT Thermal Cycler with Universal Basket for 24 x 96-well plates
Price
Description The H2OBIT™ is a fully licensed, high throughput, water bath thermal cycler capable of the simultaneous processing of up to 24 microplates. This equates to 9,216 reactions per run when using 384-well plates.

A robotic arm rapidly transfers a basket of plates between three water baths resulting in temperature ramping times that are considerably faster than those of peltier block cyclers.

The temperature of each water bath is microprocessor controlled, ensuring a temperature variance of 0.2°C. This provides excellent well-to-well and plate-to-plate uniformity to give identical and reproducible PCR reactions. The H2OBIT™ is operated by a computer management system, which allows
full data tracking of all PCR runs and enables integration into a LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System).

Features
Capable of processing 96-, 384- and 1536-well plates
Processes up to 24 plates simultaneously
PCR capability of volumes between 1µl to 1ml
Fully licensed for PCR
Equivalent capacity to 6 x MJ Research™ Tetrad™ or 24 x peltier block cyclers
PC controlled utilising user friendly step-by-step macro-based software
Supplied with PC and software
Full data tracking of all PCR runs
Unrivalled well-to-well uniformity

The Universal basket

The Universal basket is suitable for use with most skirted 96- and 384-well PCR plates, including the following ABgene plates:
AB-1300: Thermo-Fast 96 Robotic PCR Plate
AB-1000: Thermo-Fast 96, Skirted Ultra Rigid PCR Plate
AB-0800: Thermo-Fast 96, Skirted PCR Plate
AB-0900: Thermo-Fast 96, Semi-Skirted PCR Plate
ABgene recommends that plates used with this basket type are sealed with Thermo-Seal, but Super Pierce Strong, Easy Pierce Strong and Clear Seal Strong can also be used.
