General DNA Sequencing Services from Polymorphic DNA Technologies, Inc.

Applications
Since Polymorphics core technology is Sanger Sequencing, our lab is ideally equipped to provide services for related applications such as SNP discovery, haplotype determination, or closely linked SNP scoring. Our service is also ideal for any short read DNA sequencing application such as bacterial or viral typing (research use only), phage display, confirmation sequencing etc. Our service can also accommodate primer walking projects. For confirmation sequencing, if a reference sequence is provided, we will supply a contig alignment with any variations clearly noted.

Preparation and Shipping
Please complete the DNA Sequencing Order Form and send it to info@polymorphicdna.com. Plasmid DNA or PCR products should be purified by a commercially available gel or column filtration method. Templates should be provided in a sequencing reaction compatible buffer. Please submit templates resuspended in deionized water. 10 mM Tris is also acceptable, but please do not provide samples in TE. Plasmid DNA should be submitted at a concentration of 0.2 μg per μL. Please provide 2 μg of plasmid DNA per sequencing reaction requested. For PCR products, please provide 15 μL of product at a concentration of .02 μg/μL to .05 μg/μL. Please also send a photo of the PCR products run out on an agarose gel.

Primers should be provided at 5 μM with at least 10 μL volume.
