ProductsGeneChoice RNA Safe Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor from GeneChoice, Inc.
Company GeneChoice, Inc.
Item GeneChoice RNA Safe Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor
Price $142.00
Description Ribonuclease Inhibitor is a recombinant protein that has been shown to help maintain the integrity of RNA in the preparation of cDNA by reverse transcription, in vitro RNA transcription, and in vitro protein synthesis. RNA Safe Inhibitor tightly binds RNases in a 1:1 ratio. It inhibits a broad range of eukaryotic RNases such as RNase A, RNase B, RNase C, and human placental RNase. RNA Safe does not interfere with the performance of other enzymes in the reaction. • RNA Safe is most effective between pH 5.5 and 8.0. It does not inhibit AMV or MMLV reverse transcriptases; SP6, T3, and T7 RNA polymerases; Taq DNA polymerase; RNase H; RNase T1; or S1 Nuclease. • Efficient inhibition of ribonucleases •Protects RNA during cDNA synthesis and in vitro transcription/translation.

  • Applications: First and second strand cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR, and in vitro transcription and translation.
  • Unit Definition: One unit of protein inhibits the activity of 5 ng RNase A by 50%.
  • Enzyme Concentration: 40 to 50 units/µl.
  • Supplied As: 5,000 units.
  • Storage Conditions: Store at -20°C.
