Description The FastPrep System combines 2 products into 1:
  • A multi-tube homogenizer and
  • A molecular isolation kit
The FastPrep System consists of the FastPrep homogenizer machine and Qbiogene/BIO101 System Matrix and Isolation Kits. Samples are homogenized and isolated in individual micro tubes eliminating the use of metal probes and shearing blades and their associated contamination and cleaning problems. Specialized bead matrices are added to whole cells and are 100% homogenized in 10 to 15 seconds. Up to 12 samples at one time.

The FastPrep System can be used for isolating DNA, RNA and protein from:

  • Transgenic Mouse Tails
  • Brainstem from Bovine and Deer for BSE and Chronic Wasting Disease Testing
  • Difficult Vegetable Products such as seeds, stem, bark, whole needles and leaves
  • Bone
  • Fiberous Muscle Tissue
  • Soil
