ProductsExpand High Fidelity PLUS PCR System; Thermostable DNA polymerase mixture from Roche Applied Science
Company Roche Applied Science
Item Expand High Fidelity PLUS PCR System; Thermostable DNA polymerase mixture
Price
Description Roche Applied Science, which pioneered the blending of thermostable DNA polymerases with the Expand High Fidelity and Expand Long Template PCR Systems, now introduces the Expand High FidelityPLUS PCR System the first product of a family of next-generation PCR Blends.

This new blend combines Taq DNA Polymerase with a novel proofreading protein isolated and characterized by Roche Applied Science. This protein mediates proofreading activity, but has no polymerase activity itself. The synergy between the mechanism of the proofreading protein and the processivity of Taq DNA Polymerase is the key to Expand High FidelityPLUS Enzyme Blends unique ability to
  • Deliver Higher Yields
  • Improve accuracy for high-fidelity applications, and
  • Incorporate dUTP to prevent carry-over contamination
for amplification reactions up to 5 kb.
