Description The user-friendly Eppendorf Thermomixer R offers maximum application versatility for sample preparations that require shaking, heating, and cooling. Its active heating/cooling function has greatly expanded its application and temperature control ranges. Five different thermoblocks, which can each accommodate 24 micro test tubes, are available for: 0.5 ml, 1.5 ml, and 2.0 ml volumes; microplates of all well contours; and 96 x 0.2 ml PCR tubes.* The Eppendorf Thermomixer R: Responsive, Reliable, and Ready to use. Product Features: temperature range from 13 C below room temperature to 99 C (Microplate thermoblock has upper limit of 70 C); for maximum application flexibility; adjustable mixing speed from 300 up to 1,500 rpm for gentle to vigorous shaking and intermittent mixing; the basic device is delivered without a thermoblock; various thermoblock sizes are available; two programs allow parameters, including time, to be stored for common or successive applications; short-mix function for quick "vortex" applications; user-friendly design *Requires Adapter Plate for 96 x 0.2 ml PCR tubes, inserts into Microplate Thermoblock.
