Description	Thermo Hybaid's unique Electro-4 design allows "4 gels in one tank" electrophoresis. By using the Electro-4 it is possible to run 200 samples or more in one compact gel tank, by stacking up to four horizontal gels. To ensure even migration, the electrode height is adjustable according to the number of gels being run. Ideal for high throughput procedures, an added benefit is the ability to load samples directly from 96 well plates using a multichannel pipette. Features Run four gels in one compact unit Accommodates Electro-4 mini, midi and maxi size gels Simple, tape-free, casting Capacity for over 200 samples UV transparent gel trays Provision for capillary and rapid centrifugal blotting Gel Casting Leak-proof gel casting is provided by simple clip-on end dams, which also allow easy levelling. The dual format combs slot positively into position to ensure the teeth are always vertical and at the correct depth for perfect well formation. The combs may be positioned at 1 cm intervals for variable gel lengths or multiple runs. Gel Blotting of Electro-4 Gels All the accessories are provided to enable capillary blotting of Electro-4 gels in two to three hours, following a run. Centrifugal blotting can also be performed in as little as 20 minutes, since the midi gel trays are the same size as most 96 well plates and will fit standard rotors.
