Description The Dodeca silver stain kits are optimized for use with semi-automated staining devices including Bio-Rad Dodeca stainers. This silver stain kit can detect nanogram quantities of proteins in polyacrylamide gels and are mass spectrometry compatible. The kit includes sensitizer concentrate, silver reagent concentrate, background reducer concentrate, image developer concentrate, and development buffer concentrate. Sufficient reagents are included to fill the large Dodeca stainer tank and can stain 12 PROTEAN Plus (25.6 x 23 cm or 25 x 20.5 cm) gels simultaneously.
