Description The DNA quantitation kit is used to quantitate double-stranded DNA (dsDNA) in solution, even in the presence of RNA or protein. With this kit, DNA is stained with Hoechst 33258 dye, which can be detected with a VersaFluor or other fluorometer. The kit quantitates dsDNA in the range of 10 ng per ml to 5 micrograms per ml and contains Hoechst 33258, calf thymus DNA standard, and assay buffer for 750 standard 2 ml reactions.
