Description	The four-bay DNA Engine Tetrad 2 thermal cycler accommodates a variety of interchangeable Alpha units (sample-holder, heat-pump assemblies), which hold different types and numbers of vessels. A Pentium-class computer drives an advanced graphical interface that displays current block, sample, and lid temperatures. Peltier heat pumps, built in-house, provide exceptional thermal performance. Temperature gradient capability is available with 96-well sample blocks. Motorized lid option produces highly repeatable sealing. Purchase of 2 Alpha units is required; the chassis runs up to 4 units. Dimensions are 47 x 61 x 21 cm (W x D x H) with Alpha units.
