Description The dual-bay DNA Engine Dyad thermal cycler is a flexible platform for DNA amplification (PCR). The chassis accommodates a variety of interchangeable Alpha units (sample-holder, heat-pump assemblies), which hold different types and numbers of vessels. Color display offers graphical programming with point-and-click navigation. Peltier heat pumps, built in-house, provide long-lasting, exceptional thermal performance. Temperature gradient capability is available with 96-well sample blocks. Heated-lid options include a motorized lid that produces highly repeatable sealing. Purchase of 2 Alpha units is required. Dimensions are 48 x 29 x 21 cm (W x D x H).
