Description The DIGIVIEW line of digital x-ray detectors from KUBTEC represents a stand-alone, high-resolution radiation imaging device complete with 12 to 16 bit digital interface. The large sensing area consists of a photodiode array sensor with pixel spacing down to 48 microns. All models are available in low x-ray energies (10-50 kV) and an extended energy range (10-160 kV). Applications range from medical diagnostics and scientific imaging to veterinary medicine and industrial inspection (NDT). All models are available in x-ray cabinets, as standalone units, or as upgrades to existing units in the field. DICOM 3.0 compatible software is also available for the units.

Sizes: Digital detectors from 1 x 1 to 16 x 16 in size, with up to 16 bit signal output representing over 65,000 shades of gray per image. This high magnification and contrast capability enables the researcher to image subtle features that heretofore were lost amid the background noise from analog detectors. The large detector size further facilitates imaging of large specimens in short time periods, without exposing them to extended doses of radiation.
