ProductsDASGIP BioBlock from DASGIP AG
Company DASGIP AG
Item DASGIP BioBlock
Price
Description High performance agitation and temperature control for microbiology and cell culture.

The BioBlock controls four wells independently and is suitable for DASGIP bioreactors from 150 mL to 1.5 L working volume.
Its temperature ranges from approximately 10 °C to 60 °C . Each well is equipped with an individual electrical heating element with integrated safety RTD and separate cooling elements, activated by solenoid valves. The broad speed spans from 40 rpm to 1250 rpm for all cell culture and microbial applications. With its small foot print of only 15” x 18” x 5” (385 x 455 x 120 mm) it requires less space than comparable products such as an incubator.

Customer's benefits are:

  1. Hassle free precise temperature control for all cell culture and microbial applications.
  2. Easy handling just insert the vessels into the BioBlock wells, no additional connections needed.
  3. Accurate control utilizing dual RTDs and advanced control technologies.
  4. Seamless integration with DASGIPs Temperature and Agitation Module

The Bioblock is a tried and tested component of the DASGIP Cultivation System fedbatch-pro® for microbial application.

  • Block Dimension (W x L x H): 15” x 18” x 5”
  • Well dimension (DxH): 4.33” x 2.36” and 2.76” x 2.36”
  • Stirring speed: 40 to 1 500 rpm
  • Temperature range: 5 K above ambient to 60°C, 5 K above cooling agent to 60 °C with external chiller

Please consider that ranges in volumes, speed etc, can refer to versions or different spare parts.

Number of parallel operations: Up to 4 vessels per Bioblock
