Description Custom monoclonal antibody development to targets including proteins and to their modification sites, small molecules, DNA, and cancer-specific surface antigens. A&Gs service is divided into two phases and is completed in approximately 40 days (duration may vary slightly dependent on the nature of antigens).

Phase I: Immunization, test bleed and fusion; $2,500

  • Initial consultation: antigen selection, design and immunization strategy.
  • Immunization of mice.
  • Serum screening by EIA and/or WB if blots are provided by the customer.
  • E-mail data to customer for evaluation and feedback.
  • Fusion using mouse with highest specific antibody titter.
Phase II: Screening and expansion of clones; $5,000
  • Cloning and screening by EIA.
  • Screening up to 20 EIA-positive clones by WB if blots are provided by the customer. Inquire about other available screening methods.
  • Data and culture supernatant will be sent to customer for testing. Customer may choose up to 5 clones.
Antigen Requirement: 0.5 - 1 mg

Deliverables: From the clones chosen by the customer, A&G will provide three vials of frozen cells per clone and 5 ml of culture supernatant.
